I came over aftr reading your thoughtful comment at Coty F.'s. I have been blogging less than a year, and like you, cannot believe that I now count many fellow bloggers as friends--like pen pals were to another generation. I enjoyed looking through your lovelies!
oh my heavens!!!! you need to send some of your tablecloths along w/ the bunches of italian lavender!! ;-} How fabulous are those? what are you going to do with them???
Can't wait to see! Thanks so much for coming by today & for your kind comments!!
Irene, oh my goodness, I got my living rooms book and I love it. But I love the beautiful wrapping that it came in, especially the hanky's - so gorgeous!!
Hello Irene, Wish I could give you a hug for the wonderful book you´ve send me, I really am enjoying it already. Such inspiration, and very useful too. I like the chaptered seasons, making it easy to look up things to make!
I´ve mentioned you in my latest post. Greetings from your danish blog-friend Helle
What a fab selection Irene! These bring back memories of being a little girl in the Clare Valley in S.A. & going with my Mum to Ladies Group afternoon teas. One would never think of serving food without a pretty tablecloth back then. Now I only get mine out for Christmas Lunch - I don't think my dear Mum would be too pleased at my slackness! Millie ^_^
Born and lived in Melbourne all my life, except for the 2 years I spent in England and Europe in my 20's. Studied Art Education at Melb Uni and have spent more than 20 years at it. Adore Vintage Fabrics, especially Barkcloth Florals from the '40/'50's but that doesn't stop me from gathering beautiful examples of anything else either!
