I am still enjoying making bunting. Have searched through my stash of linens far and wide for doilies as well as having great luck at some Op shops. In fact I walked into my local on a last minute whim and there on the counter was a pile, just arrived, that I went through with another lady who was looking for lace for dolls houses. Between us both we took much of what was there. The Craft Gods were kind to me this week!
And still making cushions!
I bought a second-hand over locker (serger) that was doing a fabulous job of making professional looking edges until I broke a needle and now despite my best efforts and a few hours of colourful language with the instruction book I cannot get to work properly again!!
Grrrr!
What have you been up to this week-end?

Might seem simple but are you putting the needle in the right way around? It may be that instead of the flat going to the back, it may need to go to the front? Have you tried Google for your particular brand, ie., searching for inserting needle into overlocker etc? Hope all is well. Glad the eiderdown arrived. Sorry it was grubby - it went everywhere with me. Love Me xx ♥
it is so interesting, lace bunting, and also romantic. i can imagine how fragile that looks, against a pale wall, e.g. great idea for the few pieces of lace i have laying about.
still loving that doily bunting my friend....perfect for spring....and perfect for autumn...which we are now in the throws of!!
the doily angels were watching over you!!

I love your lace bunting, would be gorgeous to decorate a wedding or babies christening with it or just over a newborn's cot.

Hey Irene....!
Your lace bunting is GORGEOUS....I'm SORRY to hear about the needle situation....I hope you manage to rectify it SOONER rather than later....!
I spent the day at the market & then out & about in the HR....I've been 'confined to barracks' most of the week so it was good to get out & clear the cobwebs....!
I hope you have a wonderfully CREATIVE week....!!
Cheers,
Tamarah :o)
