Oh Irene I'm LOVIN' your fabric stash & the kitchen cabinet in your last pic looks GORGEOUS....LOVE those colours....!!!!!

THANKS for your comment....The fabric fared well following it's soak though I had to cut quite a bit out due to the rusty staples at the top of the pelmet....Oh well....STILL lots of fabric for MANY projects....!!

CAN'T WAIT to see your cabinet when you've finished....!!

Cheers for a bit,

I am obsessed with vintage fabrics, I just purchased a whole bunch of remnants the other day and was pleasantly shocked to find one of them a plaid Hermes blanket! Some nut had cut it in two which actually makes 'them' the perfect size for lap blankets in our old Rover. $4 for TWO Hermes lap blankets, not a bad day!

Tell us more about that cabinet! Is that stained glass??

Love all your fabrics, especially that French monuments one. I think you have inspired me to do a post.

Thanks and have a lovely day!

Hi Irene, just divine. I adore the first bark cloth but the gold on cream polished cotton is to die for. I'd love that in a dress... I'm having a ginger beer and fresh lime juice and loads of ice. It's hot here today in Sydney. Pruxxx

There are some beautiful fabrics there... I am also a bark cloth girl at heart! Your work in progress is a beauty! I don't have any room left at my place for more 'fixer uppers'... I will have to finish some to make room for more!

Great show and tell, Irene! those Ikea fabrics are fabulous - not everyone's taste I know, but I find them very cheerful. Love that gold on cream too...well, love them all!
