At the Op Shops today I found....

...something that made me laugh

and something that I just could not leave behind. (Blue and white enamel ware candleholders with wear and tear tick one of my boxes every time!)

Not finding time for much blogging lately so forgive the sporadic posts. Life is just like that sometimes isn't it :)

What have you found lately chums?
Irene xx

The hankie britches are so sweet :) I wouldn't have left the candlestick behind either.

I am on line so I am stopping by. You are such a wonderful supporter of my bloggy, sweet Irene. I thank you. My recent purchase or should I say gift is a beautiful cameo set from Katherine at the Old BoatHouse Blog. I am in love with it as I yearned for it and someone snuck out and purchased it for my birthday. I love wearing things that have history. I am sure I can feel the past lives in things! A-M xx

I am so with you on the chipped enamel ware... it seems wrong somehow if it doesn't have a dent or two. The candle holder is a beauty! I have also been out and about at the oppies and picked up a beautiful enamel jug with measurements in pints and ounces... oh what a quandry it is whether to keep it or pop it on the stall!

Small world, I found some enameled candleholders just like that a couple weeks ago. One is blue and the other green, can't wait to use them this summer, outside under my huge hurricanes. Love your curtain too, what a clever way to use your doilies!
