The things you can find....

I found this beautiful painting of a little girl in an op shop today for $5.00. It is an Acrylic on Board and was painted by Jennet M. Harrison and entitled 'Denise In Autumn'.
When I got home with it I Googled the artists name and all I could find was that she was a Life Member of the Victorian Artists Society.
Subsequently I found out that she had died just last year.
Can anyone provide any further information on this artist?
It is a beautiful painting and I think it will be a keeper! Isn't she just gorgeous, I wonder if she was a grand daughter?
I don't know where as yet as my decor is not this range of colours but I will find somewhere!
I can't believe my luck with this one as I thought it was a print at first. Could be the start of a whole new interior colour scheme!
