This week I have found...

...a load of old coathangers

Some amazing thick white Guipure lace that seems destined for a barrel lampshade frame I also scored at an op shop
A gigantic piece of beautiful Matellase
And
the cutest Childrens height 'chart' from West Germany 1981. Needs a good clean, so thats one of my jobs
 for this weekend :)
Hope you find time for some fun things too.

I have worked hard this week to free a little crafting time for myself on the weekend, I hope I get to keep it!!! Life is always unpredictable when you have young kids ;)

The guipure lace is a blast from the past Irene! I was a little flowergirl at a wedding in the 60's & the bride's whole dress was covered in it. I thought it was the epitome of 60's chic & still do.

That lace is stunning! Clever you. AND I learned two new words: Guipure and Matelasse. Thanks!
