My Op Shop Teasures Today

Yes, at it again.

This is my collection of goodies for today. Plus my delivery of fabulous fabric from cotton.rose on Ebay. Meterage, not fat quarters from her! I just never use fat quarters! The pink is a stunning silk/cotton mix with a lovely soft sheen. Just beautiful. The roses is a cotton canvas just the thing for my lounge cushions revamp. If they are as good as I think they will be I will make some more for my Ebay store.

The pictures are for the frames. The big one has a painting from 1944! But it is quite ordinary and not by anyone famous that I can find or know of. Solid wood with plaster render and gold finish. Some lovely, useful ribbons and notions as well as the sweetest little porcelain bell with shamrocks. Christmas decoration I think. Sweet ring too.
And the big boys chose a big truck each for the sandpit. Everyone was happy!
I send you all lots of warm sunshine from cold wet and rainy Melbourne after our two high30 degree celcius days earlier in the week! Ah Melbourne!
