However I was reminded of peoples generosity and goodwill yesterday when my Bits and Baubles Swap partner Leslie's bag of colourful and inspirational goodies arrived on my doorstep. I must say that I had forgotten that it was on its way with everything else that was going on.
You cannot imagine how delighted I was to open up the bag and discover all the little thoughtful things Leslie has sent me. Wonderful buttons, trims, flowers, tiny satin flowers, a stencil (always loved stencils!) some pretty stamps, the most adorable little crocheted baskets and a crocheted pincushion! There is also a little cross-stitch kit for a fridge magnet! Some of the trims were wound around old fashioned wooden pegs. Leslie makes peg dolls and sells them in her Etsy shop. They are wonderful little dolls. Check out her work here. Might just have a go myself!
What a little treasure chest of delights! I am very grateful for such a lovely swap partner. You made my day Leslie. Thank you for all you chose and especially for the wonderful teabags! I can honestly say I have never tasted Cherry Vanilla Tea before!
There also has to be a bucket load of thanks to Leslie's sister Malissa of Sleepy Hollow Folk Art Originals for putting together such a great swap. These things connect all of us in the best way doesn't it. Thank you Malissa!
Now time to get crafting! :)

So glad you liked your bag of goodies! Hope your stress lessens and you find something everyday that makes you smile!
Irene,
Glad to see you received a pretty distraction from your unpleasant week. I hope things will be better soon.
You are too sweet Irene! I really hope everything starts to look up for you soon. It seems like all of the bad stuff hits at once. My grandmother used to say bad things come in 3's. Have a great weekend and Happy Valentine's Day!
What wonderful goodies - Glad you found something to smile about! Take Care!! Cindy
