Holiday Crafting at last....YaY!

Finally managed to make some time these holidays to do a little sewing. Have had these in my head for ages. Beautiful Vintage fabric off Ebay a while ago that was telling me it was to become pillows and cushions for my bed.

Pretty don't you think :)

( At last!!!!)

Hope you are all having fun too :)
Irene x

ps. further to my previous post, most of the clothing was unsalvagable but I did keep three things, an apron, a shirt and the Percy Cerutty singlet.

They turned out beautiful! I love the color. What Holiday's do you have in Australia right now?
Also, I love that the stool below was stuffed with those old clothes! What I love about antiques and anything old is thinking about where they have been and what they have done, and wondering about the people whose lives they have passed through- I know I am such a nerd!

That fabric is so sweetly gorgeous. It channels the lovelies vibe of a vintage nightgown or dressing gown - perhaps one a screen star of yesteryear would have draped herself in while getting ready to shine in front of the cameras.

Thank you dearly for your recent comment, sweet soul! I truly hope you're having a marvelous week!
